Additional House Rules for Horse Betting
Wagers are accepted until post time. If a wager is made after the race has begun, it will not be accepted. We do not assume liability for wagers that are unsuccessfully entered before post time. Only wagers confirmed with a "yes" are accepted, please insure to check the pending wagers screen before logging out to see that your wagers where accepted.
Once you confirm a bet online, your wager is considered final, we cannot cancel confirmed wagers.
APK3 and PK4 Grading and
Payout Rules
Issued March 2005
and currently effective
All PK3 and PK4 tickets are paid out based on
the official race results as published by the host track at which the race was
run. There are no automated refunds of PK3 and PK4 ticket parts when any runner
scratches. Normally, scratched runners are included with the winning runner IF
the post time favorite wins the race.
In the event a scratched entry is not included with a winning post time
favorite in the official track results, and the other runners selected for each
leg on the ticket are winners, please contact HB Customer Service and the
ticket part will be refunded by Customer Service.
HB reserves the right to refund PK3 and PK4 tickets where a scratched runner is
selected for a leg of the ticket after the scratch has been posted by the host
track, but before the scratch has been entered in the Racebook. If any such
refunds are made, HB Customer Service will notify our client before race time
advising of the refund.
2Daily Double Grading and
Payout Rules
Updated March 1,
2006 and currently effective.
All Daily Double tickets are paid out based on
the official race results as published by the host track at which the race was
run.
Daily Double tickets are automatically refunded where the runner selected in
the first leg of a Daily Double is a scratch.
In the event of a scratch in the second leg of the Daily Double, if the host
track pays a Consolation Daily Double (picked the winner of the first leg, but
the selection for the second leg is scratched), such winning consolation
payment should automatically be paid. If no Consolation Daily Double is paid by
the host track, then Daily Double tickets selecting the winner of the first leg
and a scratch in the second leg will be automatically refunded.
If these refunds and payouts do not occur in accordance with these rules,
please contact Customer Service for assistance.
Ticket Pay out Limit Rule
There is a Cap Payout Limit of $25000 on any
winning ticket.
Rebates:
A rebate of 3% will be paid on all wagers on a weekly basis. There are no minimum weekly volume requirements and there is no maximum on how much you can earn. Our week runs from Monday until Sunday and every Monday by 11:59PM EST we will deposit into your account your 3% rebate for the previous week.
No rebate will be given on cancelled wagers or wagers refunded due to a scratch.
No rebate will be given on phone wagers. All phone wagers, even if the site is not available, are not eligible for the rebate. It does not apply to matchups or other wagers made through the sportsbook login.
Odds and Limits:
Win, Place, Show wagers pay full track odds. All other wagers pay full track odds up to a maximum payout of 300 times your original bet amount.
There are no limits on how much you can place on any one horse or bet type. However, you will see that each ticket has a bet limit (typically $1,000), you simply need to make multiple bet tickets to get to the bet amount you seek. There is a $20,000 limit per betting ticket.
There are no house odds. If there are no track payoffs for a certain type of wager, all wagers on that type will be refunded.
Scratches:
If a horse is scratched, all Win/Place/Show wagers will be refunded and the portion of Exacta/Trifecta/Superfecta/Quinella combos that contain the scratched horse will be refunded.
For Daily Doubles, if a horse is scratched before the 2nd leg, a consolation will be paid on that combo, as specified by the track payouts.
